Hope Christian International Ministries, Inc. was established in 2004. The Lord put a burden on my heart to directly address the grave conditions of the children of Timbo, Liberia- West Africa. It has been ravaged by a 14-year civil war that ended in August 2003. Thousands have died, the economy devastated, and the most vulnerable of society, the children, have suffered the most. The destructive toll of conflict on the lives of Liberia’s children has left thousands uprooted from their homes, many without access to education and healthcare, hundreds have been separated from their families and many traumatized, having witnessed or participated in the full barbarity of war.
